For about a day now, rumors have been flying around about Former Chicago White Sox Outfielder, Jermaine Dye, possibly going to the Chicago Cubs. Dye, who is nearly 36 years old, could still prove to be a valuable addition to the Cub’s roster. He still did pretty good with the Sox last year, despite missing a chunk of the season, due to injury.
Last season, Dye hit 27 Home Runs, with 126 total hits. Despite his average dropping down to .250, he is still a solid player. He has already voiced his interest to remain in Chicago, so, what better move than to go right across town?
If Dye is not picked up, Xavier Nady is a possibility to fill the role in the Cub’s Outfield. Sources have confirmed the Cubs interest in both players.
