What a great time to be a Hawks Fan!

The Chicago Blackhawks have had an incredible start to their season, going 20-8-3 during their first third of the season. They are currently tied with the Nashville Predators for the leading spot in the Central Division; however, the Predators have played three more games than the Hawks. Not to mention, the Blackhawks and Coyotes are the only two teams in the NHL to NOT have LOST MORE THAN TWO CONSECUTIVE GAMES. In fact, the Blackhawks have only had back-to-back losses three times in this season.

Of course, the Blackhawks have some star players, like Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Marian Hossa, etc., but it’s the strength of this team as a whole that is really helping them to succeed; 21 different players have scored in their 31 games. They have Allowed the lowest amount of Goals, overall, and have the highest amount of Short Handed goals.

I could go on all day listing off great statistics about this team, but it doesn’t take much to realize that this is a Winning Team! With about four months until the Playoffs, the Blackhawks show no sign of slowing down. Regardless of if you have been a lifelong fan or just started Committing to the Indian, the verdict is that it’s a Great Time to be a Hawks Fan!

The Blackhawks play Tonight, December 16, at 7:30 P.M. They will be taking on the St. Louis Blues.
