The Chicago Blackhawks unveiled their new Alternate Jersey on Friday, with much excitement from Blackhawks fans. Sketches of the jersey had been released for about a week, but photos finally surfaced Friday morning.
The Jersey is based off the 2009 Winter Classic Jersey the Blackhawks wore during their game with the Detroit Red Wings, at Wrigley Field. The main difference is the Red Tomahawk patch on the shoulders.
The Blackhawks are expected to wear these new Alternate Jerseys several times this year, debuting with their first home game following the Circus Trip, on December 1st.
Wrigleyville Sports will be carrying these new Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane Alternate Jerseys around the 10th of December. Check back for the great deals on these jerseys!
