Cubs Officially Sign Rudy Jaramillo

The Chicago Cubs, under the new ownership of the Ricketts Family, have hired hitting coach, Rudy Jaramillo. For the past 15 years, Jaramillo has been part of the Texas Rangers staff. He recently left the Rangers organization after they were unwilling to give him a multi-year contract.

Jaramillo is considered, by many, as one of the best hitting coaches in the MLB. Also, he used to be Milton Bradley’s hitting coach. Bradley, who had a disappointing year, ended the season on an off-note with Cubs fans. If the Cubs decide to keep Bradley, maybe this change will be the spark his career needs, and the spark the Cubs need.
