Tuesday Night, Chicago Bear’s Linebacker, Lance Briggs, attended an airing of AM 670, the Score, at Old Town Social in Chicago. He discussed with Laurence Holmes, broadcaster for the Score, about “being a Chicago Bear.” A good portion of the discussion was set aside to clear up confusion about Brian Urlacher and the news of his injury, which will force him to miss the rest of the season. During commercial breaks, Briggs signed autographs for fans.
One of the big questions Holmes asked was, “Would you consider taking over Brian Urlacher’s position as Middle Linebacker?” Briggs quickly shot back a “no” before the question was even completely finished. The Outside Linebacker made it clear that he has no desire to take over the position because he is “happy with where he is at” and he is “an outside guy.” Although, faithful to his coach, he did add that if Lovie Smith felt it would be better for the team to have him in the Middle Linebacker position, he would go there.
What a Great Team Player and an Amazing Athlete!
