Bears Beat Super Bowl Champs Steelers in Thrilling Game

Jay Cutler looked like the All Pro the Bears traded for in the offseason, leading the Bears offense on two impressive second half drives. Both drives resulted in points, including a Robbie Gould field goal with 20 seconds left to seal the victory.

Neither team had much of a running game, with Matt Forte limited to just 29 and the Steelers’ Willie Parker only managed 39.

It turned out to be a game of defense and passing. The Bears D came up with timely sacks and hurried Ben Roethlisberger into some bad throws, including an interception in Bears territory. Jeff Reed, the usually reliable kicker for the Steelers, missed two 40+ yard field goals on the wet, rainy turf.
