Ramirez and Johnson Aid the Peoria Chiefs

Aramis Ramirez and Reed Johnson are helping out the Peoria Chiefs, a Chicago Cubs Affiliate Team, as they rehab their way back up to the Majors. Both players are currently on the Cubs' DL; Ramirez for a dislocated shoulder from May 8 and Johnson with back spasms from June 24. In their game with the Chiefs on Friday, July 3, Ramirez doubled and scored two runs while Johnson singled and scored, helping the Peoria team beat the Kane County Cougars 7-1.

Ramirez will hopefully be returning to the Cubs on Monday, July 6 while Johnson probably won't be back until a little later in the week.
