Kris Versteeg Remains a Blackhawk

Phew! It's alright to relax now that the Chicago Blackhawks have finished signing their seven restricted free agents. Despite all the controversy surrounding Cam Barker and Kris Versteeg and the way the Blackhawk organization carried out their trade proposals, both players were still able to be signed. Which is a great thing for Chicago!

Last season, Versteeg had 22 goals and 31 assists, giving the Left Wing 53 total points. During the playoffs, he added 4 more goals and 8 more assists. It's good to know he is going to be staying in Chicago.
