Despite Shutting Out Astros, Cubs Still 1/2 Game Behind

When two teams are as close as Half a Game away from each other, like the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals, it takes more than just the success of the trailing team to switch up the Rankings in that Division. The Cubs did their part yesterday by slaughtering the Houston Astros 12-0, but the L.A. Dodgers just couldn't deliver a loss to the Cardinals, despite leading the entire game by a run and adding another run in Extra Innings.

The Cardinals and the Cubs each finish off their series today. Hopefully, by the end of the day, the Cubs will be back on top!
