Cubs Pitcher Ted Lilly Chosen to Play in All Star Game

One of the Chicago Cub's most under-rated players will be journeying to Busch Stadium in St. Louis on July 14 for the All-Star Game. Ted Lilly will be representing his team, along with the rest of the National League. Lilly will be the only representative from the Cubs and will be one of two lefties on the roster, along with New York's Johan Santana. Lilly has played in the All Star Game once before in 2004, but at that time he was on the American League's side because he was playing for the Toronto Blue Jays.

So far this season, he has had eight wins and six losses with the Cubs. He has an ERA of 3.32 and has struck out 97 batters. Lilly will be a great representative for the Chicago Cubs.
