Friday night, the Chicago Blackhawks took on the Nashville Predators, resulting in a 3-1 win for Chicago. This win clinched a playoff spot for the Blackhawks.
Samuel Pahlsson put a goal in for the Blackhawks within the first six minutes of the game. Only a few minutes later, the Predators tied it back up again. The score remained tied until about half way through the second period when Jonathan Toews put one in the back of the net. Then, in the final two minutes of the game, Martin Havlat added a final point to Chicago’s score.
Nikolai Khabibulin had 25 saves for the Blackhawks.
The Chicago Blackhawks will play their next game against the Columbus Blue Jackets this Sunday, April 5 at 4:00 Central Time. The Blackhawks only have five more games left before the playoffs.
